iPad 3, what maybe coming our way
It does not seem that long ago that we were all excited about the launch of the iPad 2. Well to no one's surprise the rumour mill has started on the iPad 3.
According to the Press we can probably expect to see in hit the shops in February 2011. But what will it contain, check out our blog for a roundup of the latest iPad 3 rumours, suggestions and downright lies
Storage
What we’re hoping for is something to get your teeth into. Wouldn’t a 128GB be awesome?
Dual-core processor...
Potentially the iPad 3 will have an awesome new processor.
iPad 3 display
A Retina Display could be one of the features Apple decides to include, it’s high on everyone’s wish list.
NFC chip
Cult of Mac reported that the iPhone 5 will use NFC to take over nearby Macs, enabling you to send and receive instantly.
HD Screen
It’s rumoured Apple is asking panel manufacturers to supply screens that are capable of displaying higher image quality images than available on the iPad 2.
Thunderbolt port
Although so far iPad’s have been USB-free, perhaps now is the time to introduce a Thunderbolt port replicating the technology in the 2011 MacBook Pro
Up in the clouds
We’d love to see a cloud-based service for storing your pictures and music etc, all on Apple's servers. A new platform such as iOS 5 and a new mobile service could be very interesting.
SD card slot
We wanted it for iPad 2 but were disappointed by its absence. Perhaps it would be included in version 3? About time.
A Better Camera
So far the camera technology on the iPad has left plenty of room for improvement, so perhaps now’s the time to update it something similar to the iPhone 4’s?
