Amazon Press Conference in New York, presents the new Kindle Family

Surrey, U.K. – September 29, 2011 – Yesterday if you were following our Facebook page, or even just trawling the web you would have come across the announcement from Amazon, and the release of their new Family of Products.

These latest offerings from Amazon include the all new; Kindle, Kindle Touch, Kindle Touch 3G & Kindle Fire. Here are the highlights of what we can expect to see:


Kindle ($79 / £89)
*    Less than 170 grams
*    18% smaller, but with same 6% screen
*    Built in Wi-fi
*    10% faster page turns		 Kindle Touch ($99)
*    Multi-Touch Function

Kindle Touch 3G ($149)
*    Multi-Touch Function

The basic Kindle device is available now in the US and follows on in the UK on the 12th October. The Kindle Fire will be available in the US from 15th November, followed by the Touch's on the 21st. As of yet there are no dates for their release in the UK.
